Car
If you are driving from Atlantic Plains, head southeast on Route N9 towards Marrakesh. After approximately 30 kilometers, keep left to merge onto A7 towards Marrakesh. Continue on A7 for about 40 kilometers and follow signs for Marrakesh. Use the exit towards Avenue Mohammed VI and continue on this road. As you approach the city center, follow signs to the Medina area where Jemaa el-Fnaa is located. It is advisable to park at a nearby parking facility, as the area is pedestrian-only. Expect parking fees to be around 20 MAD per hour.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Jemaa el-Fnaa via public bus, locate the nearest bus station in Atlantic Plains. Take a bus heading towards Marrakesh, which typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Marrakesh, get off at the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Walking will take around 20 minutes; simply head towards the Medina and follow the signs. A taxi ride should cost between 20-30 MAD.
Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer to travel by train, first make your way to the nearest train station in Atlantic Plains. Board a train heading to Marrakesh, which takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Marrakesh train station, take a taxi to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes and cost around 20-30 MAD. Alternatively, you can walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa, which will take approximately 30 minutes.
