Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving to Atlas Mountain from Marrakech, take the N9 road towards Ouarzazate. After approximately 40 km, turn left onto the R203 road towards Imintanoute. Continue on the R203 for about 30 km until you reach the village of Imintanoute. From there, you can follow local signs to the Atlas Mountain area. Ensure you have a good map or GPS as some roads may not be well-marked.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    To reach Atlas Mountain via public transport, take a bus from Marrakech to Imintanoute. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Marrakech (Gare Routière de Marrakech) and the journey takes around 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Imintanoute, you can either hire a taxi or walk to the Atlas Mountain area, which is about 5 km from the bus station. The taxi ride will cost around 50-100 MAD.
