Car
From Chaouia, take the N2 road northbound towards Chefchaouen. Follow this road, enjoying the scenic views of the Rif Mountains. The journey is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Upon reaching Chefchaouen, look for signs directing you towards the Medina. There are parking areas available outside the Medina. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 10-20 MAD per hour.
Bus
If you prefer public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Chaouia. Look for buses heading to Chefchaouen; these are often marked clearly. The bus journey will take around 3-4 hours. The fare is usually about 50-70 MAD. Once you arrive at the Chefchaouen bus station, you can walk to the Medina, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the Medina, or ask locals for directions.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Chaouia to Chefchaouen. This will be a more expensive option, with fares typically ranging from 400 to 600 MAD for the trip. The journey time is similar to traveling by car, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, the taxi can drop you off near the entrance of the Medina.
