Le Jardin Secret: A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Marrakech

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Chaouia and head towards Marrakesh via the N9 road. It’s approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Marrakesh, follow the signs towards the Medina. Find parking near the Medina, as driving inside can be challenging. From the parking area, walk to Rue Mouassine, which is about a 10 to 15-minute walk. Le Jardin Secret is located at 121 Rue Mouassine.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus or a grand taxi from Chaouia to Marrakesh. The bus station is usually located in the town center. Upon arrival in Marrakesh, you can take a local taxi to the Medina. It should cost around 30-50 MAD. Once at the Medina, ask the taxi driver to drop you near the entrance to Rue Mouassine. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Le Jardin Secret located at 121 Rue Mouassine.

• Walking from Medina

  If you're already in the Medina, navigate to the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa. From there, head towards the souks and look for Rue Mouassine. You can ask locals for directions, as it is a well-known street. After walking through the souks, you will reach 121 Rue Mouassine, where Le Jardin Secret is located. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
