Car
From the main road in Dades Valley, head towards the small town of Taadadate. Follow the road signs leading to Taadadate. Once you reach Taadadate, look for the road marked M568, which will take you directly towards Kefroun (Turtle's Back). The drive is approximately 20-30 minutes from the central part of Dades Valley. Be sure to keep an eye out for the distinctive rock formation on your right as you approach the coordinates M568+QC.
Public Transportation
To reach Kefroun using public transportation, start by taking a bus or shared taxi from any point in Dades Valley to Taadadate. Buses and shared taxis typically leave from designated stops in Dades Valley and the fare is usually around 15-25 MAD (Moroccan Dirhams). Once in Taadadate, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) towards M568, or you can hire a local taxi to take you directly to Kefroun for about 30-50 MAD.
Walking
For those who are adventurous and staying close to Taadadate, you can walk to Kefroun from the town center. Head southeast on the main road until you reach M568, then follow the road signs leading to the Turtle's Back formation. The walk will take approximately 1 hour. Ensure you have suitable footwear as the path can be rocky.
