Car
If you are driving to Gorges du Dades, start from the town of Boumalne Dades, which is approximately 30 km away. Take the N10 road heading east towards Tinerhir. After about 18 km, turn left onto the R703 road. Follow this road for about 12 km until you reach the entrance to Gorges du Dades. Look for signs indicating the gorge, and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. Note that parking may be available at designated areas near the gorge.
Public Transportation
To reach Gorges du Dades via public transportation, take a taxi or a bus from Boumalne Dades to the gorge. Shared taxis (called 'grand taxis') can be found at the main taxi stand in Boumalne Dades. The fare is around 30-50 MAD per person, depending on negotiation and demand. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you directly to Gorges du Dades.
Walking
If you're near the gorge and wish to explore on foot, there are several walking trails that lead into the heart of Gorges du Dades. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry plenty of water.
