Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Essaouira, head southeast on Avenue Mohammed V towards Rue Ibn Khaldoun. Continue straight until you reach Avenue Al Moukaouama. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you see the signs for Diabat. Turn right onto the road leading to Diabat. Continue for approximately 1 kilometer, and then take a left onto the dirt road that leads to Cheval Essaouira. The destination will be on your right after approximately 500 meters.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cheval Essaouira via public transportation, you can take a taxi from Essaouira city center to Diabat. Look for a shared taxi (called 'grand taxi') near the main square (Place Moulay Hassan). The fare is typically around 10-15 MAD per person. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Once in Diabat, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Cheval Essaouira, which is about a 5-minute drive from the main area of Diabat. Ensure you confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Diabat, you can walk to Cheval Essaouira. Simply head southeast from the village center towards the beach and follow the path along the coast until you reach the dirt road leading to Cheval Essaouira. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers and will take approximately 20-25 minutes on foot. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
