Walking
If you are at the Essaouira Medina (the historical walled city), start by heading towards the Skala de la Ville, which is located along the western edge of the Medina. From there, walk along the ramparts towards the north. Continue along the seawall, enjoying the views of the ocean and the fishing harbor. Keep walking until you reach the end of the ramparts. Bab El Marsa is located just beyond the ramparts, closer to the water. Look for a path leading down towards the beach area, and you will find Bab El Marsa nearby.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local taxi from anywhere in Essaouira. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Bab El Marsa.' You can find taxis near the main square, Place Moulay Hassan, or ask your hotel to call one for you. The ride should only take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can easily spot Bab El Marsa as it is a prominent landmark near the beach.
