Walking
If you are starting from the Essaouira Medina (the old town), exit through the main gate (Bab Doukkala) and head straight towards the beach. Once you reach the coastline, turn left and walk along the promenade, enjoying the view of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue walking until you reach the Essaouira Harbor. From the harbor, you’ll see the Place Moulay Hassan straight ahead. It is located just a few minutes' walk from the harbor, and you can’t miss it as it is a bustling public square surrounded by cafes and shops.

If you are at the Essaouira Citadel (the ramparts), exit towards the main entrance and walk down the hill towards the ocean. Follow the path until you reach the beach area. From there, turn left, and continue walking along the coast until you reach the harbor. Place Moulay Hassan will be directly ahead of you once you approach the harbor area.

If you are at the Essaouira Bus Station, exit the station and head towards Rue de La Skala. Walk straight along this road, which will lead you to the Medina district. Once you reach the Medina, continue walking straight until you see signs pointing towards the harbor. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Place Moulay Hassan in approximately 20-25 minutes.
