If you are near the Essaouira Medina, start at the Place Moulay Hassan, the central square. From there, head towards the main entrance of the Medina. Walk through the bustling streets, filled with shops and local vendors. Keep heading straight until you reach the Moulay Hassan Mosque, which is a prominent landmark. Continue walking past the mosque and you will find yourself near the ramparts of the city. Turn left and follow the ramparts; you will see the stunning coastline on your right. As you walk along the ramparts, keep an eye out for the Bab Sbaa gate, which will be visible as you approach the western end of the ramparts. The gate is a historical landmark and offers a beautiful view of the ocean.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in the Medina. Start your journey from the Place Moulay Hassan and head towards the Moulay Hassan Mosque.
