Getting There

    If you are starting from the Essaouira medina, head towards the main square, Place Moulay Hassan. From the square, walk towards the sea and follow the promenade until you reach the Moulay Hassan ramparts. Continue along the ramparts until you see the entrance to the Kasbah district. Enter the Kasbah and follow the narrow streets. Look for Rue Ziry Ibn Atiyah, which will be on your left. Bayt Dakira is located on this street. The building is a local history museum, so keep an eye out for the sign.

    If you are near the Essaouira Citadel, exit the citadel and walk towards the main road, Rue Laalouj. Turn left onto Rue Laalouj and continue walking straight. You will reach the intersection with Rue Ziry Ibn Atiyah. Turn right onto Rue Ziry Ibn Atiyah, and Bayt Dakira will be on your left side shortly after.

    From the Essaouira bus station, head towards the medina. Once you reach the entrance of the medina, turn right and follow the main path into the medina. Continue straight until you reach Place Moulay Hassan. From the square, proceed to the ramparts and follow the previous directions to reach Bayt Dakira.
