Private Guided Walking Tour of Fes Medina with Expert Local Guide

Magical Tour of Fes Medina with Mourad

My tour guide Mourad grew up in the area and is very knowledgeable about the Medina. He greeted many local people that he knows as we walked along the maze-like streets. Stops included the Blue Gate, Chouara Tannery, the Royal Palace, the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and a peak through the doors of Al-Qarawiyyin University (the world’s oldest). We visited many artisans including hand weavers making silk blankets, metal workers hammering brass, and a ceramic potter who made bowl after bowl right in front of me, perfectly shaped with his bare hands. I’m blown away by all the artisans skills. We topped the day off with a drive to a panoramic viewpoint over Fes. What could be better! I was completely enchanted by Fes Medina, so visually stunning but what made the experience next-level was Mourad with his knowledge and passion for the Medina. He was also very patient when I shopped or took photos. I highly recommend him as your tour guide for your private Fes walking tour!

Fez Full Day City Tour with Local Guide

Best guide (super attentive)

I've done two tours with two different groups with Salin. Everybody loved it. It's super attentive. Dedicate all your attention to the group. We can suggest activities or preferences that it will adapt to the tour. Also will lead us to taste typical foods during the trip through the medina. It's amazing. Besides, he's already become a friend. I recommend to all people who go to Fez.
