    If you are in the heart of Fes El Bali, start at the famous Bou Inania Medersa. Head east on Rue Talaa Kebira, which is a bustling street filled with shops and traditional Moroccan architecture. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Talaa Sghira. Turn left onto Rue Talaa Sghira and walk for about 5 minutes. You will then reach Place Seffarine, a square known for its metalwork. From there, take the alley that leads northeast towards Rue Chouara.

Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Chouara Tannery on your right-hand side at 21 Rue Chouara. Look for the signs directing you to the tannery, as it can be slightly hidden among the shops.

    If you find yourself near the Bab Bou Jeloud (Blue Gate), exit the gate and head south. Walk straight along Avenue Ahmed Balafrej until you reach Place Bou Jeloud, then turn left onto Rue Talaa Kebira. Follow the earlier description to navigate to Rue Chouara.
