Getting There

• Walking

  To reach Fez-Meknès from the center of Fes, start at the Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), a well-known landmark. From the gate, head east along Rue Talaa Kebira, which will lead you into the heart of the medina. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rue Talaa Seghira. Turn left, and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue Sidi Ahmed Talaa. From here, you'll see signs pointing towards the direction of Fez-Meknès. Follow the signs and continue walking until you exit the medina area. The journey will take about 20 minutes.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To get to Fez-Meknès using public transport, go to the nearest bus station, which is located near the main square at Place de la République. Look for buses heading to Meknès; they are usually marked clearly. Purchase your ticket from the kiosk or the driver. Buses typically run every hour, and the journey will take about 1.5 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that you are on the right bus before boarding.

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a petit taxi. You can find them at various points in the city, especially near the medina and major squares.
