An authentic experience around pottery

I absolutely loved my experience! Before my visit, I had asked to spend more time at the pottery wheel. They were very flexible and offered to adapt the activity to my request for a small supplement, which I accepted with pleasure. We started with different activities around ceramics, then I had the chance to spend a good amount of time with the person who works at the wheel. He accompanied me and allowed me to really put my hands in the clay and do pottery with him. That was exactly the experience I was looking for! But what I also remember is the ambiance of the place. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, cozy, and family-oriented: you quickly feel at ease, almost as if you were spending time with friends. I laughed a lot, I had fun, but I also learned a tremendous amount. A very beautiful moment of sharing and discovery that I recommend without hesitation to anyone who wishes to learn about ceramics and pottery in an authentic and friendly atmosphere. Truly amazing experience, we were shown how they do each craft in their co op and then shown how to do our own mosaic tiles. Very helpful instructions and insightful presentation of everything. You then get the chance to purchase more intricate pottery from their showroom while you wait for your tile to dry up (short wait and then you get to take it home). They arrange transport to and from your accommodation and there is tea and cold water served, overall a very calm, low-pressure environment and you get a unique souvenir you make yourself from your trip!

We had an exceptional experience. The driver was punctual and escorted us to the workshop, where Ahmed and Abdou welcomed us with professionalism and warmth. Their explanations were clear and precise, and we had the pleasure of creating our own pieces, which we received the next day directly at our hotel. The service was impeccable, and the three hours spent at the workshop were both enjoyable and enriching.
