Start from the Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), a major entrance to the old medina. From here, head straight into the medina through the bustling streets filled with shops. Follow the main path until you reach the Place Boujloud, a vibrant square. Continue straight, keeping your eyes open for local artisans and street vendors. As you walk, make sure to look for signs indicating various attractions. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will find yourself at the heart of the Fez old medina, where you can explore the narrow alleys and vibrant souks.

If you are starting from the Fes Royal Palace, exit the palace grounds and turn left. Walk towards Avenue des Almohades. From there, follow the road until you see Bab Rcif, another entrance to the medina. Enter through this gate and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere. Continue straight until you reach the main alleyways of the Fez old medina, where you can discover shops, cafes, and historic sites.

For those coming from the train station, exit the station and turn right onto Avenue de la République. Walk down this road until you hit the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Avenue Hassan II. Continue straight until you reach the parking area near Bab El Guissa. This is another access point to the old medina. Once you enter through Bab El Guissa, follow the signs and pathways that will lead you deeper into the Fez old medina.
