From Imlil, head southwest on the main road towards the village of Aroumd. Continue along the road for about 3 km until you reach Aroumd. After Aroumd, the road becomes narrower and more rugged. Follow the signs toward Lac Ifni. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes from Imlil, and you should be cautious of the road conditions, particularly after rain. There is no entry fee for the area around Lac Ifni, but ensure your car has enough fuel for the journey.

Take a shared taxi (also known as a 'grand taxi') from Imlil to Aroumd. The fare is typically around 10-15 MAD per person. Once you arrive in Aroumd, you may need to hire a local guide or a mule to take you to Lac Ifni, as the path can be difficult to navigate. The mule ride will cost around 200-300 MAD depending on the negotiation. The entire journey from Imlil to Lac Ifni using public transport can take up to 2 hours, including waiting times.
