Getting There

    Starting from the central square, Place el-Hedim, head northeast towards Avenue des Martyrs. Walk along Avenue des Martyrs for about 10 minutes until you reach the Bab Mansour gate. This is one of the most famous landmarks in Meknes. Once you pass through the gate, continue straight and take the first left onto Rue de la Kasbah. The Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail will be on your right, just a short walk down this street. Look for the large entrance and the impressive architecture, which marks the mausoleum.

    If you are starting from the Meknes train station, exit the station and head towards Avenue de la République. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the main entrance of the Medina. Once inside the Medina, navigate to Place el-Hedim and then follow the previous directions to reach the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
