If you are traveling by car, ensure you have a GPS or a map on hand. From the center of Merzouga, head southeast on Route R702 towards the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers. As you approach the dunes, look for signs directing you to Ali & Sara's Desert Palace. The palace is located on the edge of the dunes, and you will see a large sign at the entrance. Parking is available on-site.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from larger cities like Rissani or Erfoud to Merzouga. The cost for a bus ticket is approximately 40-70 MAD (Moroccan Dirhams), and for a shared taxi, it can range from 50-100 MAD depending on your starting location. Once you arrive in Merzouga, you can either walk (about 10-15 minutes) towards Ali & Sara's Desert Palace or hire a local taxi for around 20 MAD for a short ride.

If you prefer to walk, from the main square in Merzouga, head southeast in the direction of the Erg Chebbi Dunes. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and takes about 20-30 minutes. Follow the main road until you see the dunes, and keep an eye out for the sign for Ali & Sara's Desert Palace, which will be on your left.
