Walking
If you are starting from the Rabat Ville train station, exit the station and head south towards Avenue Mohammed V. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Révolution. Turn left on Avenue de la Révolution and proceed until you reach the next major intersection. Turn right onto Avenue de la Victoire and continue walking until you reach the Bab El Had gate. From Bab El Had, enter the Medina and follow the winding streets until you reach Avenue des Consuls, where the Rabat Old Market is located at number 10. The market is bustling with activity and offers a variety of local goods.
Public Transport
From the Rabat Ville train station, take tram line 1 towards 'Ain Sebaa.' Get off at the 'Palais Royal' stop. From there, walk towards Avenue de la Révolution and turn right. Continue until you reach Avenue de la Victoire, then turn left. Proceed to Bab El Had gate and enter the Medina. Navigate through the streets until you find Avenue des Consuls, where the Old Market is located at no. 10. The tram ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and the walk from the station to the market is about 20 minutes.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Rabat. Just let the driver know you want to go to 'Marché Ancien' or 'Avenue des Consuls.' The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure the driver agrees to use the meter before starting your journey. Once you arrive at the market, you can easily spot the entrance located at number 10.
