Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Rabat Ville train station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Place de la Révolution. At this square, turn left onto Avenue Mohammed V. Walk along this avenue for about 1 kilometer, passing by various shops and cafes. When you reach the end of Avenue Mohammed V, turn right onto Avenue Moulay El Hassan, which will lead you towards the river. Continue walking straight until you see the entrance to the Kasbah des Oudayas on your left. The entrance is marked by a large blue gate.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From your location in Rabat, find the nearest tram station. Take Tram Line 1 towards 'Sidi Moumen'. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at 'Bab El Had' station. Once you exit the tram, walk east along Rue Souika for about 300 meters, and you will reach the entrance to the Kasbah des Oudayas on your right.

    If you are at the Hassan Tower, exit the site and walk towards the river. Head down to the waterfront promenade along the Bou Regreg River. Follow the promenade to your left for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Kasbah des Oudayas. The entrance will be visible from the promenade.

    If you are near the Royal Palace, exit the palace grounds and head north. Take a left on Avenue Al Marsa and walk towards the ocean. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the Kasbah des Oudayas. The entrance will be on your right, marked by a striking blue gate.
