Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Merzouga Erg Chebbi by taking the N10 road from larger cities like Ouarzazate or Errachidia. From Ouarzazate, head east on the N10 for about 200 km until you reach the town of Merzouga. Look for signs pointing towards Erg Chebbi dunes. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure you have enough fuel, as there are limited stations along the way.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from cities such as Marrakech or Fes to Merzouga. There are several bus companies, including Supratours and CTM, that run daily services. The bus from Marrakech to Merzouga typically takes around 10-12 hours, so consider an overnight option for comfort. Once you arrive in Merzouga, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Erg Chebbi dunes, which are located about 5 km from the town.

• Taxi
