Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Ouarzazate, which is approximately 30 km from the location at 01 Bis, Ouarzazate 45000. Take the N10 road south towards Tazenakht. After about 20 km, take a right turn onto the R106 road. Follow this road for another 10 km until you reach the intersection near the village of Sidi Daoud. Turn left onto a smaller road leading to the Sahara with locals site. The location will be easily marked, but it is advisable to use GPS or a map for assistance.
Public Transportation
To reach Sahara with locals via public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Ouarzazate to Tazenakht. The bus fare is around 30 MAD (Moroccan Dirham) and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tazenakht, you can either hire a taxi or walk to the R106 road. Taxis should cost around 50 MAD to reach the location. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Taxi
If you prefer direct transportation, you can hire a taxi directly from Ouarzazate to Sahara with locals. The taxi fare will cost approximately 200 MAD and the journey will take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to negotiate the fare in advance or ask for the meter to be used.
