    If you are starting from a city in Saharan Morocco, such as Ouarzazate or Marrakech, you can rent a car for the journey to the Hiking Atlas Mountains. From Ouarzazate, take the N10 road heading towards Tazenakht. After approximately 45 km, turn onto the R203 road towards Tabant, which will lead you directly to DR Timite, Tabant 22000. The drive takes around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on your starting point and road conditions. Make sure to check your car rental agreement, as additional insurance may be recommended.

    Public Bus

    For travelers using public transportation, take a bus from either Ouarzazate or Marrakech to Tazenakht. The bus ride from Ouarzazate to Tazenakht typically takes about 1 hour and costs around 30 MAD (approximately $3). Upon arriving in Tazenakht, you can hire a taxi to take you to DR Timite in Tabant. The taxi ride will cost roughly 100 MAD (around $10) and will take about 30 minutes. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey to avoid any misunderstandings.

    Another option is to take a shared taxi (also known as 'grand taxi') from Ouarzazate to Tazenakht. These taxis leave when full and can be a faster option compared to buses. The fare is usually around 40 MAD (about $4) per person. Upon reaching Tazenakht, you can then take a local taxi to DR Timite, which costs around 100 MAD (approximately $10) for the 30-minute ride.
