Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location within Saharan Morocco, head towards Casablanca, which is approximately a 10-hour drive from places like Merzouga or Zagora. Take the N9 highway north, which will eventually connect to the A2 motorway. Follow the signs for Casablanca. Once in Casablanca, use a GPS or a map to navigate to Boulevard de la Corniche. The mosque is located directly on this boulevard. There is parking available nearby, but it may incur a cost, typically around 10-20 MAD per hour.

• Bus

  For those traveling by public transportation, you can take a CTM or Supratours bus from major towns in the Sahara such as Merzouga or Zagora to Casablanca. Buses typically depart in the morning or early afternoon and take around 10-12 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Casablanca, take a taxi to Boulevard de la Corniche. The taxi fare should be around 30-50 MAD depending on traffic.

• Train

  If you prefer to take a train, you can first travel to Marrakech via a CTM bus from your Saharan location. The bus ride to Marrakech takes about 6-8 hours. From Marrakech, you can catch a train to Casablanca from the Marrakech train station. The train journey takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arriving at Casa Voyageurs station in Casablanca, take a taxi to Boulevard de la Corniche, which will cost around 30-50 MAD.

• Taxi

  Once in Casablanca, if you are not already on Boulevard de la Corniche, you can always hire a taxi. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey, or ensure the meter is running. The cost from the city center to the mosque should be approximately 30-50 MAD. Be aware that traffic can be heavy, especially during rush hours.
