Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Sais to the Minaret de la Koutoubia in Marrakesh, start by heading southwest on the N6 road toward Marrakesh. The drive will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. As you approach Marrakesh, keep an eye out for signs leading to the city center (Medina). Once in the city, navigate to Avenue Mohammed V, where the Minaret is located. There are public parking areas nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 10-20 MAD per hour.

  To reach Minaret de la Koutoubia via public transportation, take a bus or a shared taxi (also known as 'grand taxi') from Sais to Marrakesh. The bus station in Sais offers services to Marrakesh with tickets usually costing about 30-50 MAD. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arriving at the Marrakesh bus station, you can either walk (around 20-30 minutes) or take a local taxi to the Minaret de la Koutoubia.
