If you're driving from the center of Souss-Massa, head north on Route N8 towards Agadir. Continue on N8 for about 30 km until you reach the exit for Ait Melloul. Merge onto the N10 towards Marrakech. Follow the N10 for approximately 200 km until you reach Marrakech. Once in Marrakech, follow signs for the Medina. It is best to park at a nearby parking facility (there are several around the Medina) as the streets can be narrow. Expect parking fees around 10-20 MAD per hour. From the parking, walk towards the Bahia Palace located at Rue de la Bahia.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Souss-Massa, take a bus to Marrakech. Buses frequently depart from the main station. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, and tickets cost approximately 50-100 MAD. Upon arrival in Marrakech, exit the bus terminal and take a local taxi or walk towards the Medina. If you choose a taxi, ensure you agree on a fare before getting in; it should cost around 30-50 MAD to the Bahia Palace area.
Public Transportation - Train
An alternative is to take a train from Agadir to Marrakech. You would first need to take a bus or taxi to the Agadir train station. The train ride takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, with ticket prices ranging from 70 to 150 MAD. Once you arrive at the Marrakech train station, take a taxi to the Medina, which typically costs around 30-50 MAD. From the Medina, it is a short walk to Bahia Palace.
Walking
If you are already within walking distance in the Medina, navigate towards Rue de la Bahia. Bahia Palace is well-signposted, and you can ask locals for directions. The entrance to the palace may involve a small fee of around 10 MAD, so keep some cash handy.
