From the center of Tafilalt, head southeast on Route N13 towards Ksar Bni Mhali. Continue on Route N13 for approximately 30 km. After passing through the town of Ksar Bni Mhali, look for signs indicating Forêt M'daghra. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the forest entrance, which is located at coordinates 31.9079798, -4.3795625. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious as the road can be rugged.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Tafilalt, where you can catch a bus that heads towards Ksar Bni Mhali. The bus ride typically takes about 45 minutes and costs around 15 MAD. Once you arrive in Ksar Bni Mhali, you have two options: either walk to Forêt M'daghra (approximately 4 km) by following the main road southeast or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the entrance of the forest, which should cost around 50 MAD.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from the center of Tafilalt. Negotiate the fare beforehand; the cost should be approximately 150 MAD for a round trip. The taxi will take you directly to Forêt M'daghra, and you can arrange for the driver to wait for you while you explore the area.
