Walking
If you are already in the Medina area, simply head towards the Kasbah, which is easily recognizable by its high walls and distinct architecture. From the Grand Socco, walk straight towards the Kasbah entrance. As you approach, keep an eye out for the narrow alleys leading up to the Kasbah. Follow the signs that read 'Kasbah Museum' or ask locals for directions if needed. The museum is located at Pl. de la Kasbah, just a short walk from the main square.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are further out in the Medina, consider taking a local bus heading towards the Kasbah area. Look for bus stops labeled with 'Kasbah' or 'Medina.' The fare is typically around 5 MAD (Moroccan Dirhams). Once you get off the bus, you will still need to walk a short distance to reach the museum. Follow the signs or ask locals for direction to Pl. de la Kasbah.
Taxi (Petit Taxi)
For a more comfortable option, you can take a 'Petit Taxi' from anywhere in the Medina. Ensure the driver understands you want to go to 'Pl. de la Kasbah.' The fare should be around 10-20 MAD within the Medina, but confirm the price before starting your journey. Upon arrival, the museum will be right in front of you at the square.
Use Kasbah Museum as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
