From the center of Tetouan, head towards the main square known as Plaza Primo. Once you reach the square, look for the signs directing you to Chefchaouen. Follow Boulevard Mohamed V, which leads out of Tetouan towards the mountains. After about a 15-minute walk, you will find a bus station called 'Gare Routière de Tetouan'. Purchase a ticket for Chefchaouen, and board the next available bus. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours.

If you are near the Medina in Tetouan, make your way to the bus station at 'Gare Routière de Tetouan'. The bus station is about a 20-minute walk from the Medina. Once there, look for buses heading to Chefchaouen. They usually depart every hour, and it’s advisable to buy your ticket in advance especially during peak tourist times. The bus ride will take you through beautiful landscapes and will drop you off at the main bus station in Chefchaouen. From there, you can walk to Rue Ibn Asskar, which is located approximately 10 minutes away on foot.
