If you're traveling by car, start from Chimanimani town. Head east on the EN6 road towards the Chimanimani National Park entrance. After approximately 30 km, you'll reach the park entrance. There is usually a small entrance fee (around 50 MZN) to access the park. Continue driving on the main gravel road within the park. Follow the signs towards Macico do Chimanimani. The drive will take you through beautiful scenic routes, but be cautious as the roads can be rough. After around 15 km, you will arrive at the base of Macico do Chimanimani, where you can park your car.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Beira or Mutare to Chimanimani town. Buses generally leave frequently and the fare is around 100-200 MZN. Once in Chimanimani, you can hire a local taxi or a 'chapas' (shared taxi) to take you to Chimanimani National Park. The rate for a taxi from the town to the park entrance is approximately 50-100 MZN. After reaching the park entrance, you may need to walk or hire a local guide for the remaining distance to Macico do Chimanimani, as public transport does not extend into the park.
