If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Pathein in the Ayeyarwady Region. Head north on the Pathein-Monywa Road (also known as Highway 1) for about 150 km until you reach the junction near the town of Damphet. Turn onto the road leading west towards Malipzup. Continue on this road for approximately 20 km until you reach PG53+P76, Malipzup, where the confluence of the N'mai Hka and Mali Hka rivers is located. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy as the signage can be limited.

Public Transportation
To reach the confluence using public transportation, take a bus from Pathein to Monywa. Buses leave regularly from Pathein's main bus terminal and the journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Monywa, you will need to catch a local bus heading towards Damphet. After reaching Damphet, you can hire a taxi or a motorbike to take you to PG53+P76, Malipzup, which is approximately a 20 km ride. The entire journey may take around 7-8 hours depending on connections and waiting times.

For a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Pathein. After renting, take the same route towards Damphet via the Pathein-Monywa Road. Riding a motorbike allows for more flexibility in stopping along the way. Once in Damphet, continue towards Malipzup, where you will find the confluence at PG53+P76. Ensure you have the necessary safety gear and a valid license to ride in Myanmar. Fuel stations are available along the way, but it’s wise to fill up before departing to avoid running low in remote areas.
