If you are in the center of Old Bagan, you can take a leisurely walk to the Bagan Archaeological Museum. Start at the main road (Nyaung U - Old Bagan Road) and head south. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with a sign pointing to the museum. Turn right at the sign and walk for another 300 meters. The museum will be on your left, just past some local shops.

Renting a bicycle is a popular way to explore Old Bagan. You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Old Bagan for around 1,000 to 3,000 Kyat per day. Once you have your bicycle, head south on the main road (Nyaung U - Old Bagan Road) for about 500 meters. When you see the intersection with the sign for the museum, turn right. Continue cycling for about 300 meters and the museum will be on your left.
