Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Old Bagan Archaeological Museum, head east on the main road (Aye Yeik Thar Street) for about 10 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the junction with 5VG5+G5C. Turn left, and Bupaya Pagoda will be on your right after a short walk. Look for the distinctive bell-shaped structure.

  • Bicycle

    Renting a bicycle is a popular way to explore Old Bagan. From your accommodation, cycle towards Ananda Temple. Once there, take the road heading south towards the river. After about 15-20 minutes of cycling, you will see Bupaya Pagoda on your left, along the riverside.

  • Horse Cart

    For a unique local experience, hire a horse cart (also known as a pony cart) from any of the nearby stands in Old Bagan. Specify 'Bupaya Pagoda' to your driver.
