Car
If you are driving from Bago town, take the Yangon-Mandalay Highway (highway 1) heading towards Mandalay. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit toward Kalaw. Continue on the road for about 15 kilometers until you reach JHC4+HRG, Kalaw. The Shwe Oo Min Monastery will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.

From Bago town, you can catch a bus heading to Kalaw. Buses depart frequently from the main bus station in Bago. The fare is approximately 1,000 to 3,000 MMK depending on the bus company.
