If you are driving from Bago town, take the Yangon-Mandalay Highway (highway 1) heading towards Mandalay. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit toward Kalaw. Continue on the road for about 15 kilometers until you reach JHC4+HRG, Kalaw. The Shwe Oo Min Monastery will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.

From Bago town, you can catch a bus heading to Kalaw. Buses depart frequently from the main bus station in Bago. The fare is approximately 1,000 to 3,000 MMK depending on the bus company. The journey takes around 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Kalaw, you can take a taxi or a local trishaw to reach Shwe Oo Min Monastery located at JHC4+HRG. The taxi fare may cost around 1,000 to 2,000 MMK.

You can also travel via train from Yangon to Kalaw. Board the train at Yangon Central Station and purchase a ticket to Kalaw. The journey can take between 8 to 12 hours depending on the train schedule.
