Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Bago, take the National Highway 1 towards Yangon. Continue on this highway for approximately 70 kilometers (about 1.5 hours). Look for the signs indicating Yangon's city limits. Once you enter Yangon, follow the signs to the downtown area. After reaching downtown, navigate to Yamonnar Road, where the Yangon Water Boom is located. It will be on your left. Ensure you have cash for tolls along the highway, which typically costs around 1,000 to 2,000 MMK.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Bago, take a bus to Yangon at the Bago Bus Terminal. Buses leave frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Look for buses heading to the Aung Mingalar Bus Station in Yangon. Once you arrive at Aung Mingalar Bus Station, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service to Yangon's downtown area. Request to be dropped off at Yamonnar Road. The taxi fare is approximately 5,000 to 10,000 MMK depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  You can take a train from Bago to Yangon by visiting the Bago Railway Station. Check the train schedule for departures to Yangon. The train journey takes around 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Yangon Central Railway Station, you can take a taxi to Yamonnar Road, which will cost around 5,000 to 10,000 MMK. Ensure to check the train timings as they can vary.
