Continue on Pyay Road until you reach a junction; take a right onto Kan Yeik Tha Road. The zoo will be on your left-hand side. The total journey will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. Make sure to check for any tolls along the highway.

    To reach Yangon Zoo from Bago Region using public transportation, take a local bus from Bago to Yangon. The buses leave regularly from the Bago Bus Station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Aung Mingalar Bus Station in Yangon, take a taxi to the zoo. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes. Expect to pay approximately 2,000 to 3,000 MMK for the taxi.
