After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the town of Myanaung. From there, continue to drive northeast for about 2 hours until you arrive at the outskirts of Mandalay. Follow the signs towards Taung Tha Man Lake, which is located near the famous U Bein Bridge. There are parking areas available near the lake where you can safely leave your vehicle.

To reach Taung Tha Man Lake via public transportation, board a bus from Pathein to Mandalay at the local bus terminal. The journey takes around 4-5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Mandalay, you can take a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to Taung Tha Man Lake. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes and cost around 5,000 to 10,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your ride.
