Walking
From the center of Hpa-An, start at the Hpa-An Clock Tower. Head south on Kyauk Ka Lat Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the main road. Turn right onto the main road (also known as the Mawlamyine Road). Continue walking for about 2 kilometers, passing by local shops and cafes. Look for signs pointing towards Kyaik Tha Lan Pagoda. After 2 kilometers, you will reach a small footpath on your left that leads up to the pagoda. Follow the footpath for about 500 meters until you arrive at Kyaik Tha Lan Pagoda.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops near the Hpa-An Clock Tower. Cycle south on Kyauk Ka Lat Road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the junction, turn right onto the main road (Mawlamyine Road) and continue for another 2 kilometers. Look for signs for Kyaik Tha Lan Pagoda and then take the footpath on your left. The total distance is approximately 4 kilometers, and it should take around 20-30 minutes to reach the pagoda by bike.
