If you are starting from the Hpa-An bus station, exit the station and head south on 26th Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main road (Ayeyarwady Road). Turn left onto Ayeyarwady Road and walk for another 700 meters. You will see the Kayin State Museum on your right at VJJJ+272. Look for the museum's sign, which may be visible from the street.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hpa-An. Start at the town square (near the clock tower) and ride south towards 26th Street. Turn right onto 26th Street and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Then, turn left onto Ayeyarwady Road. Pedal for approximately 500 meters until you see the Kayin State Museum on your right at VJJJ+272. The ride should take roughly 15-20 minutes.
