    Walking

    From the center of Kalaw, head southeast on Main Road (also known as Kalaw-Inle Road) toward the south. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction where you need to turn left onto the road leading to Inle Lake. Continue walking for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful scenic areas with rice paddies and small villages along the way. Make sure to ask locals for directions if you’re unsure, as they are usually very friendly and willing to help. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of Inle Lake, where you can find various boat services to take you around the lake.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Kalaw. Start by cycling southeast on Main Road toward Inle Lake. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come to a fork in the road; take the left path that leads toward the lake. The ride will take you through picturesque landscapes and local villages. Continue along the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Inle Lake. There, you will find options for boat rentals to explore the lake further.
