Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kyaiktiyo Pagoda and head towards the main road. Follow the signs towards Thein Za Yat. After approximately 30 minutes (around 20 km), you will reach the Sittaung Bridge area. Look for GVCG+7V6 on your GPS, which will guide you to Sandy Shore. There is a parking area near the bridge where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
To reach Sandy Shore via public transportation, take a local bus from Kyaiktiyo Pagoda to Thein Za Yat. The bus station is located near the entrance of the pagoda. The bus ride should take around 45 minutes and costs approximately 1,000 MMK. Once you arrive at Thein Za Yat, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi to reach Sandy Shore, as it is about 5 km from the bus stop. The motorcycle taxi fare is around 2,000 MMK.

Walking (from Thein Za Yat)
If you prefer to walk from Thein Za Yat to Sandy Shore, exit the bus station and head towards Sittaung Bridge. The distance is about 5 km and will take approximately 1 hour on foot. Follow the main road along the river, and you will arrive at Sandy Shore. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
