Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Mandalay and head south via the Mandalay-Myitkyina Road (National Highway 1). After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto the Inn Wa Road. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach Inn Wa. Nanmyint Tower is located at VX4J+G76, which is well signposted. There is parking available nearby. Please note that fuel costs and potential tolls may apply.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Mandalay, take a local bus heading towards Inn Wa. Buses are frequent and can be caught from the Mandalay Central Bus Station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 1,000 MMK. Once you arrive at the Inn Wa bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Nanmyint Tower, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 2,000 MMK for a taxi.
Public Transportation (Train)
For a more scenic route, take a train from Mandalay to Inn Wa. The train station is located near the city center. Trains to Inn Wa are available throughout the day, and the fare is approximately 500 MMK. Upon arrival at the Inn Wa train station, you can walk about 3 kilometers to Nanmyint Tower, or take a local taxi for around 2,000 MMK.
Cycling
If you're adventurous and enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from Mandalay and cycle to Inn Wa. The route via Mandalay-Myitkyina Road is approximately 40 kilometers. This could take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Once in Inn Wa, it's about a 2-kilometer ride to Nanmyint Tower. Make sure to bring water and snacks for the journey.
