Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Mud Volcano (Nagarpwattaung). Once you reach the Arrawaddy Bridge, the Mud Volcano is located nearby. You can park at designated areas near the site.

To reach Mud Volcano using public transport, take a bus from Magway to Minbu. Buses regularly depart from the main bus terminal in Magway and the journey takes around 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Minbu, you can hire a local taxi or motorbike taxi to take you to the Mud Volcano, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the Minbu bus station. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand - expect to pay around 5,000-10,000 MMK depending on your negotiation skills and the distance.
