Take the right turn towards the town of Bagan. Continue for about 20 kilometers. As you approach Bagan, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Ananda Temple. The temple is located at coordinates 21.1708575, 94.8675479, and you should find ample parking space nearby. Note that there may be an entrance fee to access the temple grounds, typically around 5,000 MMK per person.
Public Transportation
To reach Ananda Temple via public transportation, start at the main bus station in Magway. Look for a bus heading to Bagan, which is a popular tourist destination. The journey should take around 1.5 to 2 hours, with fares typically costing around 5,000 MMK. Once you arrive in Bagan, you can hire a local taxi or a horse cart to reach Ananda Temple, which is about 10 minutes away. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should range between 3,000 to 5,000 MMK for the short ride. Remember to check the bus schedule for return trips to Magway.
Motorbike Rental
