Getting There

    If you are starting from Mandalay Hill, walk down towards the main road (Mandalay Hill Road). From the base of Mandalay Hill, head west towards 26th Street. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a left onto 26th Street. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach 81st Street. Turn right onto 81st Street and walk for about 500 meters until you see the entrance to Kuthodaw Pagoda on your left.

    If you are at the Mandalay Palace, exit the palace grounds and head south towards 26th Street. Walk along 26th Street for about 2 kilometers until you reach the corner of 81st Street. Turn left onto 81st Street and walk for about 500 meters. You'll soon see Kuthodaw Pagoda on your left.

  • Cycling

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops around Mandalay. Start from the city center and head towards 26th Street, then follow the same route as the walking directions. Cycling will take around 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.
