For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from any major town in Mon State to Hpa-An. Once you arrive in Hpa-An, look for local minibuses or pick-up trucks heading to the Mahar Sadan Cave. The fare for the bus ride to Hpa-An is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 MMK. The local transport to the cave will cost approximately 500 to 1,000 MMK per person.
