From Ngapali Beach, head west towards the main road (Aye Yeik Thar Road). Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through local villages and scenic views along the way. Once you reach the intersection with the road leading to Thandwe, turn left. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Ngapali Dam. Follow the signs until you reach the dam, which is located at C85P+C5R in Thandwe. Please ensure you have local currency for any potential tolls or entry fees.

Public Transportation
From Ngapali Beach, you can take a local taxi or a shared minivan to Thandwe. The fare is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 Kyat per person. Once you arrive in Thandwe, you can ask the driver to drop you off near Ngapali Dam or walk approximately 1 kilometer. Look for local directions or signs that point to C85P+C5R, as the dam is a known local attraction.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ngapali Beach. Start from the beach and head towards Aye Yeik Thar Road. Cycle along the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection for Thandwe. Turn left and continue cycling for another 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Ngapali Dam. This route offers beautiful views of the countryside, but be mindful of traffic.
