From Ngapali Beach, head east on the main road, the Ngapali Beach road, towards the town of Thandwe. Continue driving for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction leading to the Phantaung viewpoint, located near the coordinates 98JP+472. Make a left turn at the sign for Kyi Kan Ye, which is a landmark near the viewpoint. Follow this road for another 5 minutes until you see the viewpoint on your right. Please note that parking might be available at the viewpoint, but check for any parking fees upon arrival.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a taxi from any location in Ngapali Beach. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Phantaung Viewpoint, providing them with the coordinates 98JP+472 as a reference. The drive will take approximately 20 minutes, and the fare should be around 5,000 to 10,000 MMK, depending on your starting point. Ensure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
Motorbike Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike. Many rental shops are located along Ngapali Beach. Rent a motorbike for about 5,000 to 10,000 MMK per day. Once you have your bike, follow the main Ngapali Beach road towards Thandwe. After about 15 minutes, turn left at the Kyi Kan Ye landmark and continue for another 5 minutes until you reach Phantaung Viewpoint. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive carefully on the local roads.
