Once you reach the pier, look for small boats that offer rides to Akauk Taung. These boats usually operate from early morning until late afternoon. Negotiate the fare with the boatman before boarding. The boat ride will take about 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views of the Ayeyarwady River as you approach Akauk Taung, where you will see the breathtaking cliffside pagodas. Once you arrive at the landing area, you can disembark and start exploring.
